All Tru Audio 6 1/2” in-ceiling speakers feature the same cutout dimension

Round shaped architectural speakers are most of the time referred to as “in-ceiling speakers”. This is because these are usually installed into the ceiling to blend in with other round ceiling fixtures like downlighters, smoke detectors, etc.

Most in-ceiling speakers are of the “coaxial” design meaning the tweeter (high frequency) is located on the middle of the woofer (low or mid frequencies) instead of a dust cap. This design delivers a uniform sound that is perfect for speakers placed above the listening area.
