The CMS12 TDC shares the same characteristics of superior vocal articulation, musicality, fortified low frequency extension and high SPL capability, with the large format Dual Concentric™ equipped studio monitors.
With its 300mm (12.00”) point source, constant directivity Dual Concentric™, the largest format transducer in the CMS range, the Tannoy CMS12 TDC is a premium quality ceiling monitor system for high output levels and optimum performance are required. Use of the Tannoy TX2 controller is recommended to achieve maximum output (45Hz – 25kHz) from the Tannoy CMS12 TDC.
The TEQ 1200 and TEQ 1200T are rubber coated, heavily damped and optimally tuned back boxes that deliver superior low frequency extension. Both have knockouts for easy straight-through wiring. The TEQ 1200T includes a THP 150 Watt single tap transformer for 70 Volt systems. The high quality, minimalist crossover network of the CMS12 TDC in conjunction with the THP 60 Watt (CMS12 TDC-60), multi tap or THP 150 Watt transformer produces a high sensitivity, low loss system with wide, dynamic range.
The CMS12 TDC is available as the CMS12 TDC-8 for use in 8 operation and as the CMS12 TDC-60, supplied with a THP 60 Watt transformer.
A THP 150 Watt transformer in a TEQ 1200T back can is available for use with a CMS12 TDC-8 for 150 Watt, 70 Volt systems.
