Opus TXT500 Text Interface Unit
Further expanding Opus’ power and flexibility is the TXT500 Text Interface Unit which allows the WCU500 or WCU600 keypads to display album, artist, and track text.
Designed to work with the HDS600 music server, it can also be used in conjunction with Xiva-based HD
servers such as those from Marantz, Imerge and Sonance. It is upgradeable for future expansion and features USB and RS232 ports for programming from a PC or laptop.

Enables track, album and artist information to be displayed on Opus WCU500 and WCU600 keypads
Directly compatible via RS232 port with XIVA and Escient FireBall protocols
Simple automated update procedure using online database
USB and RS232 port allowing connection to PC and for software driver updates
Connects to up to 4 MCU500 units simultaneously
IR emitter allowing TXT500 to teach codes to Opus LRC500 Learning Remote Control
Directly compatible with Sony S-LINK / Control A1™ interface and protocol & connects to up to 2 Sony multi-changers (giving users access to up to 800 CDs)
