Testimonials
"Following advice from Wirefree Homes I purchased a Sonos Wireless Music System and Kef Ci ceiling speakers, together with Pioneer Plasma TV and Kef IQ5’s with Ci160’s as rears for my Home Cinema. I am absolutely delighted with my system and would recommend using this company"

KEF iQ30 Bookshelf Speaker (Light Oak/Walnut)

The legendary Q series from Kef has had a thorough going-over and the results are quite impressive to say the least. The new IQ30 bookshelf speakers from Kef look similar to their predecessors, the IQ3's, (which is actually a good thing), and boast the same impeccable build quality and design, however the differences between the IQ3 and the IQ30 bookshelf speakers are on the inside. Kef have re-designed the crossovers and internal circuitry and have managed to make the most out of the IQ30's whilst maintaining a competitive price point. We see awards in sight for the IQ30 bookshelf speakers. These modifications on the inside make a big difference to the sound, allowing for more definition and separation of the sound. A side by side comparison of the new IQ range, inclusing the Kef IQ130 bookshelf speakers, to the old range confirms that these small internal changes allow for a remarkable improvement on an already superb speaker range.

The Kef IQ30 bookshelf speakers make use of Kef's 'tangerine waveguide tweeter cover, typically found on the popular Kef KHT3005SE speakers, to help smoothen and disperse high frequencies thus allowing for a wider, more realistic top end, whilst conveniently protecting the IQ30 tweeter driver from harm. With rigorously engineered magnet systems and titanium-coated cones, the crucial midrange combines delicacy and assertiveness in equal measure. Dual composite bass cones are driven by ultra-low distortion motors incorporating Faraday rings to iron out harmonic distortion and deliver incredible extended bass.
