The DBP-2011UD is classed as a universal player as it will play not only Blu-ray and DVD plus their recordable versions but also CD, CDR/RW and the high quality audio formats of DVD Audio and SACD. The video material can be passed through the Denon I/P scaler and transmitted via HDMI at 1080p along with all the relevant audio bitstreams. Deep Colour and x.v.Colour signals can pass to compatible screens. 3D signals for 3D Blu-ray discs will also pass through the HDMI as it is 1.4 standard, you will need a 3D ready screen and any repeaters in line will also need to pass 3D signals for correct operation.

All audio parts are chosen by Denon for their quality and direct mechanical ground connections are employed to keep the noise floor away from delicate audio signals. The play mechanism and chassis are specially designed to eradicate magnetic and other electrical interference plus minimise vibration.
